I used to bank at a Chase bank at 42st and Broadway in Manhattan. They cashed a $5000.00 teller check, for a person who is being charged for ID theft, from my account without picture ID. I’ve been told at a number of Chase banks that you don’t need picture ID. You only need to know the pin. They claim to one of the most secure banks in the country. The person who stole my wallet (who I’ve known for at least twenty years) must have seen me punch my pin at some point.
